We're looking for an experienced User Acquisition Specialist to join one of our biggest products - Setapp.
Setapp is MacPaw's subscription-based app service for macOS and iOS. It provides access to 240+ Mac and iOS apps for daily tasks covering productivity, lifestyle, web development, Mac maintenance, creativity, writing, education, and personal finance.
The User Acquisition Specialist will be a critical member of the Marketing Operation team. Reporting to the Acquisition Marketing Manager, this position will be responsible for digital advertising campaign planning and execution, including strategy development, media planning and budgeting, campaign setup, reporting, and optimization.
In this role, you will:

  • Adapt the existing strategy for each ad channel to reach product goals approved by PMM
  • Independently plan, execute, manage, and optimize new and existing PPC campaigns primarily focused on Google Ads search campaigns
  • Analyze ongoing campaigns & provide ideas for future improvements
  • Determine (with PMM) the target audience of ads, ways to address it, and ad messaging
  • Conduct regular testing to improve results
  • Allocate budget across different advertising channels
  • Design reporting environment and structure to capture the current state of ad activities/ campaigns and their effectiveness, create tools to automate ongoing operational analytics to keep track of product goals achievement through ad channel
  • Find new partners (ad tools and services) and establish cooperation with them to reach product goals
  • Maintain interaction between team members to improve/ establish internal processes (ad creation, landing page creation, etc.) required for the implementation of strategy
  • Keep abreast of emerging advertising market trends to increase the channels` efficiency and upgrade ad tools if needed


Skills you'll need to bring:

  • 2+ years experience in digital advertising marketing, particularly in managing Google Ads search campaigns
  • Intermediate level of English
  • Solid knowledge of other paid channels/campaign types, such as Facebook Ads, Google Display Network, Google Shopping Campaigns, etc
  • Web/Mobile Web traffic acquisition experience
  • Strong analytical skills to track campaign performance, analyze metrics, and generate useful reports that inform decision-making
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Google Sheets or other alternatives for high-volume data analysis is an option)
  • Strong experience with analytics and tracking tools, proficient in Google Analytics
  • Experience in hypothesis validation and running A/B tests
  • A great mix of creative and analytical thinking
  • A sense of ownership, ability to self-manage, and great communication skill


As a plus:

  • Hands-on experience with growth hacking techniques and a demonstrated history of growth success
  • Successful English copy-testing experience
  • SaaS niche experience
