What you'll do
- Define business strategies for emerging AI and agentic commerce opportunities, including where Walmart should participate, differentiate, and invest.
- Use data and analytics to size opportunities, diagnose performance, build business cases, and measure impact.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and business models to identify new opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
- Lead initiatives end-to-end, from opportunity assessment and strategy through experimentation, launch, measurement, and scale.
- Work with leading technology platforms to evaluate and develop new partnerships, business models, and customer experiences.
- Develop strategies across emerging areas such as AI-driven discovery, agentic commerce, distribution, and monetization.
- Translate strategic opportunities into clear priorities, operating plans, and cross-functional roadmaps.
- Drive alignment and execution across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, Marketing, and other teams.
What you'll bring
- Strong background in business strategy, strategy & operations, strategic partnerships, consulting, or a related field, with a track record of turning ambiguous problems into actionable strategies and results.
- Exceptional analytical skills and experience working directly with data to develop insights, size opportunities, build business cases, and evaluate performance.
- Strong curiosity and fluency in AI and emerging technology trends, with the ability to understand new capabilities and translate them into business opportunities.
- An operator mentality—comfortable going beyond strategy to drive initiatives through execution, launch, and scale.
- Experience owning complex initiatives from zero-to-one, with the ability to operate independently and create structure where little exists.
- Strong business judgment and the ability to translate emerging technologies into customer and commercial opportunities.
- Ability to work effectively with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and external technology partners.
- Exceptional communication and ability to influence senior stakeholders while remaining close to the details.
