The Manager, Technology Operations will lead strategic initiatives that support Marketplace item experience, catalog quality, seller enablement, and scalable operational processes. This role is responsible for driving complex global programs from strategy through execution, translating ambiguous business challenges into structured plans, well documented requirements, and measurable outcomes. The position requires strong leadership in coordinating global cross-functional teams, monitoring progress against milestones, and implementing corrective actions to maintain program health. About the team:
Our team operates within Walmart Marketplace Seller Success, focusing on item experience, catalog strategy, and scalable seller enablement. We enhance product structuring, management, and scaling across the Marketplace ecosystem to support seller success while ensuring catalog quality and customer trust. By leveraging product, process, and go-to-market strategies, we identify high-value opportunities in item creation and lifecycle management. Collaborating with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Business, and Operations teams, we tackle complex initiatives requiring systems thinking, innovation, and data-driven decisions. The team values curiosity, collaboration, strong problem-solving, and effective execution in dynamic environments.
What you'll do:
- Define and manage complex global cross-functional programs or strategic initiatives with clear objectives and accountability.
- Assess resource requirements, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful program completion.
- Translate ambiguous business, catalog, and seller challenges into structured strategies, business cases, and decision frameworks.
- Monitor project progress against milestones, leading cross-functional coordination to address issues and maintain program health.
- Build and maintain stakeholder relationships through clear, concise communication and data-driven influence.
- Identify systemic gaps, root causes, dependencies, and scalable improvement opportunities across Marketplace workflows and processes.
