Walmart Connect is seeking a Manager on the Media Partnerships team to support the partnerships and strategy that power our offsite solutions. This role is responsible for driving partnership strategy, revenue growth, operational excellence, and cross-functional execution. Reporting to the Director of Media Partnerships, Demand Activation, you will serve as the business owner for Walmart Connect's strategic media partnerships, driving growth, execution, and partner success. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with strong operational execution and a proven ability to influence across teams to deliver business results. Success in this role requires strong partnership leadership, cross-functional influence, and operational execution.
About the team:
The Media Partnerships team at Walmart Connect drives offsite advertising through strategic collaborations with leading advertising technology firms. This team creates innovative solutions, unlocks new revenue opportunities, and launches products that advance retail media. By integrating strategy, commercialization, and execution, the team works closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and executive leadership. The collaborative environment ensures alignment of partnership strategies with business goals, effective integration, and delivery of measurable outcomes, shaping the future of advertising within Walmart Connect.
What you'll do:
- Support the growth of WMC strategic media partnerships by executing commercial and operational initiatives
- Build strong working relationships with strategic partners, serving as a day-to-day POC
- Identify opportunities to improve partner performance through commercial programs, operational improvements, and go-to-market initiatives
- Collaborate with partners on enablement, co-selling activities, marketing initiatives, and product launches
- Partner closely with Product, Sales, Marketing and other cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of partnership initiatives
- Gather partner feedback to help inform product enhancements and future roadmap discussions
- Support WMC sales teams through partner enablement, training, and customer-facing initiatives
- Prepare business reviews and partnership updates to measure progress and identify growth opportunities
What you'll bring:
- 4+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, account management, or digital advertising
- Experience working within the programmatic advertising ecosystem, including DSPs, SSPs, CTV, retail media, or advertising technology
- Proven ability to execute cross-functional initiatives and deliver measurable business results
- Strong relationship management skills with experience partnering with external technology partners and internal stakeholders
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment
- Experience commercializing new products, driving go-to-market initiatives, or supporting partnership growth is a plus
- Passion for innovation and helping shape the future of digital advertising through strategic partnerships
