The Role

USA IB, Financial Sponsors, IC6

Essential Functions/Responsibility Statements:

  • Provide support to senior bankers across three industry coverage groups: Financial Sponsors, Real Estate, Gaming, Lodging & Leisure (“REGAL”), and Industrial Services
  • Develop client presentation materials and internal committee memorandums, including all background research, analysis, and drafting
  • Ownership of financial models and other financial analysis
  • Perform detailed valuation analysis, including LBO analysis, Discounted Cash Flow, Trading Comparables and Transaction Comparables
  • Support product partners and monitor entire execution process for transactions ensuring timely execution to meet client expectations
  • Adhere to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with all applicable regulatory standards, requirements and policies

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent degree and/or equivalent work experience, in Finance, Business, or a related field.

Work Experience:

  • 1+ years of experience in Investment Banking or related Financial Services Industry (1-2 years)
  • Experience is preferred, but not mandatory, in any of our three coverage verticals (Financial Sponsors, REGAL, or Industrial Services)

Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of corporate finance and investment banking products
  • Expert comprehension of Excel and PowerPoint with advanced financial modeling skills
  • Strong critical thinking with the ability to develop solutions to complex challenges
  • Solid interpersonal skills, with crisp communication and an ability to express facts & ideas clearly (both verbally and in writing)
  • Ability to multi-task and coordinate across multiple teams
  • Intellectual curiosity and courage in leadership style
  • Team player and self-starter

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

Base Pay Range

Minimum:

$82,500.00 USD

Maximum:

$135,000.00 USD
