Position Overview
Elevate your career with CHAGEE as a Manager, Operations, Integration & training. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that all new hires and existing employees receive effective, consistent, and compliant training to meet operational standards and business needs. This role is focused on improving store operations by identifying skill gaps, developing tailored learning programs, and continuously enhancing the training experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support employee development, enhance productivity, and maintain high standards of customer service across all CHAGEE locations.
What you'll do:
Onboarding & New Hire Training
  • Manage the new hire onboarding process, including scheduling, delivering, and tracking completion of training.
  • Ensure a smooth and engaging onboarding experience that sets employees up for success.
  • Provide orientation on CHAGEE’s brand values, culture, operational standards, and health and safety regulations.
  • Lead the operational integration of new products, equipment, technology, and business initiatives from concept through field execution.
  • Translate strategy into practical operating plans that are easy for teahouse teams to understand and execute.
  • Anticipate operational challenges early and develop solutions that simplify execution.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure initiatives are designed with the teahouse experience at the center.
Training Program Development
  • Collaborate with operations partners to identify training gaps and develop targeted learning programs tailored to specific needs and roles in store operations.
  • Ensure all mandatory compliance training is delivered and documented according to regulations.
  • Develop processes, tools, and operating standards that enable consistent execution across a growing teahouse networks.
  • Create playbooks, SOPs, implementation guides, and operational resources that support sustainable growth.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes based on feedback from the field.
  • Support operational readiness for new teahouse openings and expansion initiatives.
Facilitation & Delivery
  • Facilitate training sessions for new and existing employees on various topics, including operational processes, quality standards, product knowledge, and company procedures.
  • Conduct training on limited-time offers, promotions, and new product launches to ensure team preparedness and consistency.
  • Support and develop the skills of in-store training support teams, providing feedback, coaching, and mentorship.
Training Evaluation & Continuous Improvement
  • Track training completion rates and assess learner performance through post-training evaluations.
  • Utilize learning management systems to gather data on training effectiveness and generate reports for stakeholders.
  • Actively seek feedback from trainees and managers to optimize training programs, streamline processes, and improve the overall learning experience.
  • Continuously update training materials to reflect changes in regulations, operational standards, and product offerings.
  • Partner closely with the Training team to design and evolve scalable learning programs that prepare teahouse teams for success.
  • Help build onboarding experiences, role-based training, certification programs, and operational learning tools.
  • Translate operational priorities into engaging and practical learning solutions.
  • Use field insights and operational performance to continuously improve training programs and resources.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with operations, HR, and store leadership to align training programs with business goals and operational needs.
  • Coordinate with the Consumer Insights to integrate customer feedback into training programs and service recovery initiatives.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a rapidly evolving environment.
  • Be prepared for duties and responsibilities to evolve, and show a willingness to step outside of your usual scope to support the company's growth. Expect opportunities for personal and professional growth as you navigate new challenges.
  • Build trusted partnerships across R&D, Finance, Marketing, Culinary, Supply Chain, Food Safety, HR, Construction and Business Development.

Experience you need to be successful
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in restaurant, coffee, hospitality, or retail operations.
  • Experience supporting multi-unit operations in a corporate, field leadership, or operational excellence capacity.
  • Demonstrated success building training programs, operational systems, or scalable field enablement tools.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives from concept through successful implementation.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for developing people, simplifying operations, and creating exceptional guest experiences.

The estimated total cash compensation for this position is $80,400 — $120,600, inclusive of base salary and estimated bonus. Final compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate and may vary depending on factors including (but not limited to): relevant knowledge and experience, skills, education, certifications, overall qualifications, and your specific work location.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in education, human resources, hospitality management, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in training and development within retail, food service, or beverage industry.
  • Proven track record designing, delivering, and managing training programs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience coaching and developing in-store trainers or teams.
  • Strong instructional design and facilitation skills.
  • Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and data analysis tools to track training progress and effectiveness.
