Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
Quality Leadership- Develop and implement site quality strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
- Establish a culture of quality throughout the organization.
- Drive continuous improvement in product quality, process capability, and customer satisfaction.
- Lead quality reviews with executive leadership and customers.
- Serve as executive owner for customer quality performance.
- Lead resolution of major customer concerns and field issues.
- Drive corrective and preventive action programs
- Support customer audits and business reviews
- Establish RMA capability based upon customer’s request
- Participate in NPI and manufacturing readiness review
- Lead quality planning including PFMEA, Control Plan, FAI and inspection requirements
- Identify manufacturing and quality risks before production release
- Ensure quality requirements are properly transferred from customer/design requirements into manufacturing controls.
- Leverage WNC’s systems and lessons learned to implement robust quality systems throughout manufacturing operations.
- Drive site quality performance through data analytics and risk-based decision-making.
- Develop programs to reduce defects, scrap, rework, and cost of poor quality.
- Partner with manufacturing and engineering teams to improve process capability and product reliability
- Establish and maintain the site QMS based on ISO 9001 and applicable customer/industry requirements.
- Maintain effectiveness of the Quality Management System.
- Lead internal, customer, and third-party audits.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and ethical business requirements.
- Establish supplier quality expectations and performance metrics.
- Lead supplier quality improvement initiatives.
- Support sourcing activities by evaluating supplier capabilities and risks.
- Greenfield quality team set-up. Build and develop a high-performing quality organization.
- Coach and mentor quality leaders and technical professionals.
- Establish succession planning and organizational capability development programs
- Participate in strategic planning and operational reviews.
- Support new business opportunities and customer engagements
- Contribute to site profitability through quality and operational improvements
Skills and Qualifications:
- 10+ years of quality leadership experience in networking products, automotive electronics, industrial electronics, wireless communication products manufacturing, or EMS industries.
- 7+ years of cross-functional team management experience.Proven experience serving as a quality leader for high-end customers with recognized customer satisfaction
- Demonstrated outstanding results in quality improvement initiatives.Experience in U.S. greenfield factory establishment, overseas site start-up, or large-scale manufacturing plant implementation is preferred.
