US Private Markets Contributions Manager

The US Private Markets Contributions Manager represents a critical role in LSEG’s efforts to expand its footprint in the evolving private markets space.  The priorities for the role are rooted in 3 key responsibilities:

  • Delivering on market outreach/engagement for private market content collection in the US:  . The core objective is to grow our private markets contributor base—leveraging existing channels and identifying new opportunities—to enhance the breadth, quality, and timeliness of content on the LSEG platform.

  • Collaborating with Global Lead to a) frame value proposition for contributors to share content and b) develop value add/thought leadership analysis.  Two key objectives associated with this role include:  a) Fostering LSEG community building in the private markets space and b) Strengthening LSEG position as provider of choice for this content among market stakeholders (including but not limited to transactors, advocacy groups and press sources).

The candidate is expected to partner with Data Managers, Strategic Account Management (SAM), Proposition, and Content teams to execute the contribution strategy, ensuring alignment with broader business and client needs. Additionally, there is a strong expectation to partner closely with Content Operations to ensure contributed data is entered into the database accurately and on time, adhering to service-level agreements (SLAs) established by the wider Contributions team.

Primary Activities

  • Support LSEG delivery of the broadest and deepest private data coverage, capable of serving diverse client personas across workflows in the US

  • Contribute to the Americas contributions strategy in Private Markets, strengthen the value proposition and set foundation for most comprehensive offering in the market

  • Provide commercial support to regional sales and global commercial teams through formal content training, first-level support, proactive engagement, competitive intelligence, and content marketing documentation

  • Stay current with developments across LSEG D&A Products and Content, sharing insights within the team

  • Support quality and responsiveness of fourth-level support for helpdesk queries

  • Contribute to content innovation by highlighting/identifying requirements through client and contributor engagement

  • Identify potential contributors to expand the LSEG offering in support of strategic goals

Desired Skills and Attributes

  • 2-3 years of experience in private markets sector with a solid understanding of key market trends, leading transactional players in the space as well as top tier data providers covering the market

  • Demonstrated ability to source, vet and understand private markets data from various collection points (ie. Editorial coverage, contributor submissions, third party public information)

  • Developed analytical skills which leverage understanding and collection of content, allowing for production of value add deliverables of publishable quality

  • Experience managing to operational deadlines and delivery of product, including contribution KPIs

  • Proactive in recommending process, product, or operational improvements in response to client suggestions or feedback

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex and unique client issues

  • Demonstrated experience working across teams/building cross-functional relationships across sales, editorial, product, and operations teams

Role requires in person attendance at LSEG office (28 Liberty Street, New York) a minimum of 2-3 days per week

Compensation/Benefits Information:

LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $112,400 - $187,300.

Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/”bonus plan”). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match. LSEG’s Benefits plan also includes basic life insurance, disability benefits, emergency backup dependent care, adoption assistance commuter assistance etc.
