Life in the New York Office

Life at our New York office combines start-up energy with the backing of a global agency. Based in the heart of Flatiron, we’re a close-knit team building something special. We value curiosity, social fluency, and people who want to grow with us. We work in a hybrid way, with a minimum of three days a week in the office to keep collaboration and creativity at the core of what we do.

 

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Account Manager who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, bring clarity and momentum to your team, and build strong, lasting client partnerships.

You’ll help guide socially-led work from brief to delivery, keeping projects on track while supporting creative ambition and commercial outcomes. Above all, you’ll act as a trusted client partner, a collaborative team member, and a key contributor to NewGen’s continued growth.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Support day-to-day account activity, working closely with senior team members, Account Managers, and Executives
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact
  • Help manage budgets, timelines, scope, and delivery across projects
  • Contribute to creative and strategic thinking on social-first campaigns
  • Collaborate closely with creative, strategy, and production teams
  • Grow with the agency, learning from senior leaders and helping shape how we work as we scale

We’d Love You to Have (Nice to Haves)

  • 5+ years’ experience managing large accounts or global clients
  • Strong knowledge of social platforms, trends, and creator culture
  • Experience working with social-first clients and teams
  • Knowledge of gaming and gaming creators (a plus)
  • Experience in fast-paced agency environment
  • Ability to translate creative ideas into measurable business results
  • Familiarity with influencer marketing and content strategy
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Comfort using project management tools

  • Highly competitive 30 days’ holiday (excluding Federal Holidays, inclusive of the Reset Policy)
  • Reset Policy – Up to 10 additional non-contractual rest days (subject to policy terms; may be amended or withdrawn)

  • December Office Closure – Office closed during the holiday period, outside of standard vacation days
