AtkinsRéalis is looking for exciting, young and motivated individuals with a keen interest in Urban AI specialism. The individual will be part of our Land Development practice and expected to develop workflows and tools to advance AtkinsRéalis’ digital capabilities and increase productivity through investigation of new technical innovations. They will work closely with discipline leads in introducing urban data analysis, computational programming and generative ai modelling into our project delivery.
Responsibilities:
Completion of a three- to five-year architecture / landscape / urban planning or other relevant degree program with post-graduation completion of a one- or two-year urban design / planning program / degree.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in emerging design-related programs and their computational synergies with the built environment.
A keen interest and demonstratable competence in specialised software such as GIS, Rhino, Grasshopper, City Engine, Unity, Unreal and Twin Motion.
Proficiency in basic software such as MS Office, Adobe Suite, Rhino, AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.
Strong writing and communication skills and ability to clearly describe design concepts with words and images.
Interest in growing over time into a more senior client-facing role, managing projects, and communicating externally.
Knowledge of and interest in Middle East is a plus.
Qualifications:
Completion of a three- to five-year architecture / landscape / urban planning or other relevant degree program with post-graduation completion of a one- or two-year urban design / planning program / degree.
3-5 years relevant professional experience. Fresh graduates may apply.
Working knowledge of standard regulations and best practice principles, with strong problem-solving skills.
Understanding of mid- to large-scale masterplanning projects. Knowledge on transit oriented development, industrial and/or leisure/tourism masterplanning projects is a plus.
Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Suite, Rhino, AutoCAD and SketchUp. Knowledge of specialised graphics software such as GIS and smart plug-ins, coding and AI-related programs or comparable software is a plus.
Strong writing and communication skills and ability to clearly describe design concepts with words and images.
Knowledge of and interest in Middle East is a plus.
