ELS is hiring for the position of Upgrade Sales in Orlando, Florida.

Job Summary

The Membership Sales Specialist is responsible for driving enhancements and new membership revenue for Thousand Trails through outbound and inbound call center activity. This role focuses on consultative selling, educating members and prospects on membership benefits, presenting exclusive enhancement opportunities, and delivering a high-level customer experience that supports long-term engagement and loyalty.

This position is ideal for energetic, goal-oriented sales professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and love turning conversations into conversions.

Essential Job Duties

Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals; compensation grows significantly with overachievement through commissions and bonuses.
  • Conduct outbound calls to current and prospective members to present membership products, upgrades, and exclusive promotions.
  • Execute strong consultative selling skills to assess guest needs and recommend appropriate membership solutions.
  • Accurately complete and process contracts while communicating all membership promotions clearly and compliantly.
  • Maintain detailed product knowledge of all membership tiers, enhancements, promotions, and program changes.

Customer Education & Engagement

  • Communicate the value of Thousand Trails memberships in a clear, compelling way that builds trust and interest.
  • Maintain warm, professional relationships with current members to drive referral activity and repeat business.
  • Assist members with questions regarding benefits, usage, product differences, and upgrade options.

Collaboration & Best Practices

  • Work closely with leadership to align sales strategy, promotional focus, and target populations.
  • Share and implement best sales practices to support team-wide performance improvement.
  • Contribute feedback on member behaviors, objections, and trends to support product development and promotional strategy.

Marketing & Outreach Support

  • Prepare and update promotional materials used to present enhancements and membership opportunities.
  • Support call campaigns and targeted outreach initiatives that increase awareness and conversion.
  • Utilize metrics and dashboards to measure campaign effectiveness and adjust sales techniques accordingly.

Skills, Education, and Experience You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or equivalent experience (preferred but not required).
  • 2+ years of sales experience, ideally in hospitality, real estate, call center, or membership/subscription-based industries.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, confident on the phone and in virtual settings.
  • High degree of self-motivation with the ability to prioritize tasks, handle multiple conversations, and hit deadlines.
  • Robust customer service mindset with a desire to help members maximize the value of their membership.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, CRM systems (Salesforce a plus), and cloud-based sales tools.

Work Environment

This position operates in a professional call center or remote office environment. Team members spend significant time on the phone and computer while engaging with members. Occasional travel for training or events may be required.

Skills Required
