As a Senior Java Backend Engineer, you will have the opportunity to be a leader on a team that creates and maintains distributed, event-driven microservices using Java and Kubernetes. This is a great opportunity for engineers looking for the opportunity to really do cloud native engineering “the right way”. 

How your day-to-day work will look like: 

✅ Drive architecture and design efforts for the Integrations team.  
✅ Drive use of engineering best practices for the team and foster and environment where meeting these requirements is the standard.  
✅ Mentor newer engineers to help them grow in their own careers.  
✅ Implement distributed, event-driven microservices in Java.  
✅ Represent the team in architecture, design, and other technical meetings with stakeholders.  
✅ Occasionally, present new services and major features to our Architecture Review Board for approval. 

This would make you the ideal candidate: 

✨ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.  
✨ 5+ Years of experience working with Java.  
✨ 4+ Years of experience working with Kotlin.  
✨ 2+ Years of experience working with Microservices. 
✨ 2+ Years of experience working with Kubernetes. 
✨ 2+ Years of experience working with AWS. 
✨ Advanced English Level is required for this role, as you will work with US clients. Effective communication in English is essential to deliver the best solutions to our clients and expand your horizons.
