Job Description

HarmonEyes is seeking a skilled and experienced Unreal Engine developer to join our engineering team. This position will report directly to our VP of Engineering and be responsible for the development of an Unreal Engine SDK.

The Unreal Engine developer will be responsible for designing and developing an eye tracking based SDK for the Unreal platform. This will include setting up a CI/CD process to build and deploy the plugin.

Additional Information

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a Unreal Engine SDK with supporting documentation and processes to build and deploy the plugin to different AR/VR devices.
  • Productionize machine learning models from the Data Science team into the Unreal environment.
  • Serve as a key contributor to ensure that developments are built to these standards.
  • Productionize 2D/3D Unreal eye tracked demos to be released with the plugin.
  • Ensure that knowledge transfer occurs continuously throughout the project.

Must Have Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Unreal development in 2D and 3D environments.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience developing for VR and AR systems.
  • Experience with developing SDKs from the ground up for the Unreal platform.
  • Experience porting over environments and code from Unity
  • Experience with C#/C++ for script development.
  • Experience with using version control systems.
  • Experience developing CI/CD pipelines for Unreal projects to build and deploy plugins to production.
  • Experience with agile software development methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban, including working with remote and hybrid teams.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, including the ability to plan, schedule, and successfully carry out projects to successful conclusion.
  • Active listener with strong written and verbal communication skills.
