About this Job:
The Unity Developer will play a key role in creating 3D scanning applications that generate point clouds from 2D asd 3D data. This role will focus on integrating front-end Unity development to deliver seamless, intuitive interfaces and user interactions. The ideal candidate will have strong mathematical skills in 2D to 3D conversion, experience with AWS, and front-end Unity expertise to ensure a fluid, user-friendly experience.
What You'll Work On:
- Develop 3D scanning applications within Unity, focusing on point cloud generation from 2D data inputs.
- Implement seamless front-end development in Unity to create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate and optimize scanning devices, enhancing user interactions.
- Leverage AWS for scalable processing, storage, and deployment of 3D models and scanning applications.
- Apply mathematical principles for high-precision 2D to 3D conversions, ensuring quality and accuracy.
- Troubleshoot, document, and optimize the application for scalability and ease of use.
Your Areas of Expertise:
- Proven experience in Unity development, focusing on 3D scanning, point cloud generation, and front-end interface design.
- Strong skills in front-end Unity development for seamless integration and a user-friendly experience.
- Solid mathematical foundation, especially in 2D to 3D transformations.
- Hands-on experience with AWS for application deployment, storage, and processing.
- Proficiency in C# and Unity libraries, with an emphasis on front-end development and user experience.
- Familiarity with scanning hardware integration and performance optimization.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of 3D imaging technologies, point cloud processing, and associated file formats.
- Experience in computer vision, 3D data analysis, and user interface (UI) design.
- Proficiency in developing cross-platform applications with a strong focus on user interface continuity.
