Volt Lines is the only technology-enabled player in the Turkish market competing against legacy incumbents and it reduces emissions and traffic by turning premium 16-seater buses into a viable alternative to single occupancy vehicles.

What we do?

In Istanbul, over 50,000 buses operate at 31% efficiency. These buses, which contribute to the city's traffic with empty seats, could also be the solution to its problem. Volt Lines is the only shuttle service provider that has both software as well as a transport service. This allows for optimal harmonization of the software and operation resulting in the creation of great experiences and services. Notable examples of these innovative services include DRT and Marketplace. DRT (short for Demand-Responsive Transport) was covered by a Harvard Business School case study that is being taught at the MBA school. Marketplace on the other hand allows companies to sell empty seats on their buses to neighboring passengers who are going in the same direction at the same time.

We're looking for a Unit Commercial Executive to join us in shaping the future of urban transportation using the latest technologies. This role combines sales execution, account management, billing ownership, and reporting responsibilities. You will support new business opportunities while ensuring strong retention, financial accuracy, and operational alignment.

Growth & Portfolio Development
  • Support new sales initiatives and regional expansion activities.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline tracking, and forecast updates.
  • Identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities within assigned accounts.
  • Monitor customer performance and proactively identify revenue growth levers.
Account Management & Retention
  • Serve as the main commercial contact for assigned clients.
  • Manage the full contract renewal cycle, ensuring timely preparation and approvals.
  • Support commercial negotiations in alignment with the Commercial Head.
  • Prepare performance summaries and contribute to business review meetings.
Billing & Financial Ownership
  • Own the end-to-end billing process for assigned accounts.
  • Ensure invoicing accuracy and completeness in coordination with Finance.
  • Track revenue realization and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Manage and resolve billing disputes in a timely and structured manner.
  • Maintain awareness of account-level profitability and margin impact.
Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Lead regional commercial priorities within a strong matrix organization
  • Coordinate closely with Planning & Launch and Field Operations for service delivery
  • Ensure smooth onboarding, routing, and operational alignment for new and existing customers
  • Resolve cross-functional issues impacting customer experience or commercial outcomes
  • Balance customer needs with operational feasibility and cost structure.

*This position reports directly to the Senior Regional Commercial Manager.


Requirements
  • 3–5 years of experience in B2B sales, key account management, or commercial operations.
  • Proven ability to manage a portfolio and drive revenue growth.
  • Hands-on experience in billing, invoicing, and financial follow-up.
  • Advanced Excel skills (reporting, analysis, data management).
  • Strong PowerPoint skills and presentation capabilities.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
  • High ownership, analytical mindset, and strong follow-up discipline.
