Description
PRN ULTRASOUND TECH *SAFETY SENSITIVE JOB
Performs radiology/Ultrasound procedures for all ages (neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric) by utilizing ionizing radiation, ultrasound frequency, and/or other imaging modalities in order to aid in the diagnosis and/or treatment of disease or illnesses. Works under the general direction of the radiology director or lead technologist and in cooperation with the radiologist.
Requirements
Must have completed an AMA approved program in Radiology with a degree or equivalent, or an AMA approved program in ultrasound and have a minimum of 1 years experience and registered in specialty division of Ultrasound.
Skills Required
- Completion of an AMA-approved radiology program with a degree or equivalent
- Alternatively, completion of an AMA-approved ultrasound program
- Minimum of 1 year of experience
- Registration in the ultrasound specialty division
