SUMMARY
The Ultrasound Technologist shall perform general, abdominal/OB-Gyn, and vascular.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to the following)
- Perform high quality general ultrasound including abdomen and OB/GYN and vascular studies in accordance with all policies and procedures.
- Competently set up and assist radiologist and pathologist during procedures.
- Working with the EMR’s to generate and complete exam orders.
- Perform, record, and analyze QC data in order to make judgments concerning the results and take appropriate action to maintain accuracy and precision.
- Maintain a safe and efficient working environment by performing equipment checks, cleaning work area, and monitoring temperatures in accordance with regulatory agencies and hospital policies.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Graduate from an accredited school of ultrasound
- RVT registrations, preferred or obtain after hire
- RDMS(AB,OB-GYN) , preferred or obtain after hire
- BLS required, or obtain within 6 months of hire

Skills Required
