ULTRASOUND TECHNOLOGIST (SONOGRAPHER)

(CROSS-SITE - TEMPORARY PART TIME) 

 

One (1) temporary part time cross-site Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) position is available in the Diagnostic Imaging Department at North Wellington Health Care (Louise Marshall Hospital & Palmerston and District Hospital). The homesite for this position is Louise Marshall Hospital. 

This position is unionized with OPSEU.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Graduate of a Canadian Accredited Ultrasound Training Program
  • Current Membership with the CMRTO and proof of professional liability insurance
  • Small parts, general, abdominal, obstetrical experience
  • NT (Nuchal Translucency) certification is preferred
  • Vascular (Carotids etc.) ABI exams and MSK Shoulders and Knees etc.) experience is preferred or working towards
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with many and varied internal and external individuals, groups, and agencies
  • Other duties as required
  • Satisfactory performance and attendance required
  • Satisfactory Reference Checks required prior to start date
  • Must provide a Police Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Must complete a Pre-Employment Health Assessment prior to being hired

 

HOURS OF WORK:

  • As per department schedule
  • Must be available for all shifts

SALARY: $36.84 - $51.77 per hour
