About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented React UX/UI Developer to join our team in Kochi, India. You will be responsible for designing and developing intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for world-leading graphical application. Unlike most development jobs, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of interesting projects, from intuitive GUIs to stunning 3D drawings and advanced React web applications. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into effective, high-quality UI/UX designs.

Availability between 7 AM to 4 PM IST is required to support collaboration with our global teams.
Key Position Responsibilities Include:
UI/UX Design

  • Design and develop React UX/UI mock-ups, wireframes, and prototypes.
  • Create functional and appealing features by implementing UX/UI best practices.
  • Design and refine UI elements, page layouts, navigation structures, and interactive components.
  • Create original graphic designs, including illustrations and icons.
  • Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product owners, product managers, and developers.
  • Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps.
  • Test and optimize UI elements.
  • Identify and troubleshoot UX/UI issues to improve usability.
  • Ensure design consistency by aligning UI components with the Cyncly design system.
  • Adhere to style standards for fonts, colors, and imagery, ensuring accessibility standards are met.

Development

  • Contribute to front-end development by implementing and refining UX/UI designs using SCSS, HTML, and TypeScript.

Backlog and Documentation

  • Contribute to backlog maintenance by documenting and refining UX/UI tasks.
  • Create sprint documentation and reports to support development planning and tracking.
  • Gather information and write release notes to clearly communicate updates and improvements.
  • Take an active role in backlog planning and Scrum ceremonies, providing input to prioritize tasks and refine user stories.

Sprint Requirements

  • Perform cross browser and device UI testing.
  • Compile Release Notes with the Product Owner.
  • Create internal and customer-facing versions.
  • Run queries to extract sprint commitments.
  • Compile timesheet entries for billing to PMs.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Collaborate with developers and QA teams to ensure high-quality implementation of designs.
  • Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.
  • Support Sales and Pre-Sales teams by developing design assets for client presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Foster a collaborative environment by actively sharing knowledge and best UX/UI practices.
  • Actively seek and incorporate feedback to continuously improve design quality and user experience.
     

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • Experience in designing and developing UX/UI mock-ups, wireframes, and prototypes for complex web applications.
  • Strong CSS implementation skills are essential for this role, please include examples of relevant CSS work in your application, especially any work implementing responsive design.
  • Ability to create functional, user-centered features by applying UX/UI best practices.
  • Designing and refining UI elements, page layouts, navigation structures, and interactive components.
  • Experience designing mobile-responsive web applications
  • Proficiency in HTML5, SCSS/CSS3, LIT, and TypeScript.
  • Strong understanding of UX principles and UI best practices for both web and mobile applications.
  • Experience designing with and maintaining component libraries and design systems.
  • Strong visual design sensibility with a focus on typography, layout, iconography, and color theory.
  • Ability to conduct and analyze user research, usability testing, and UI optimization.
  • Experience with cross-browser and cross-device UI testing.
  • Working knowledge of the React JavaScript and/or React-Native frameworks, to support collaboration with front-end developers is preferred.
  • Ability to create original graphic assets, including custom illustrations and icons, to enhance user interface design is nice to have.
  • Experience using analytics and behavior tracking tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar) to inform UX/UI decisions is preferred.

  • Excellent collaboration skills to work with developers, QA, product owners, and sales teams.
