Work with the industry leader
At Eon, our mission is to make patients healthier and healthcare affordable. Eon Patient Management, or EPM as we like to call it, identifies patients with disease risk and streamlines clinical decision analysis so clinicians can work at the top of their licenses. With unique solutions across multiple disease states, we drive unprecedented adherence to care pathways, so that more patients are seen and more survive. When patients win, healthcare systems win - both clinically and financially.
As a market leader in incidental tracking and patient management, Eon is pioneering the use of Artificial Intelligence to enable healthcare enterprises, ranging from small health systems to large, national-scale IDNs in the US.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a UI/UX Designer to join Eon’s Product team and help shape intuitive, scalable experiences across Eon’s Intelligent Care Platform. In this role, you’ll design experiences used daily by clinicians, navigators, and care teams to manage complex patient workflows and improve outcomes.
You’ll focus on translating complex clinical and operational workflows into simple, elegant, and user-friendly experiences—balancing usability, accessibility, and consistency across a growing product ecosystem.
This role is ideal for a designer who thrives in highly collaborative environments, enjoys solving meaningful problems, and wants to have a direct impact on patient care by designing tools that clinicians actually love to use.
In this role you will:
Product Design & Experience Strategy
- Drive experience vision: Partner with Product Managers to define and evolve the user experience vision for key areas of the Eon platform.
- User-centered design: Advocate for end users by grounding design decisions in user research, workflow understanding, and usability best practices.
- Design for impact: Ensure designs support Eon’s mission by improving efficiency, clarity, and engagement across clinical and operational workflows.
- Consistency and scalability: Contribute to and evolve Eon’s design system to ensure visual and interaction consistency across products.
- Accessibility-first mindset: Design inclusive experiences that meet accessibility standards and support diverse user needs.
Execution & Delivery
- End-to-end design ownership: Lead design from discovery through delivery, including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI.
- Translate requirements into experiences: Work closely with Product to translate requirements and workflows into intuitive user experiences.
- Implementation partnership: Collaborate with Engineering to ensure designs are technically feasible, clearly specified, and implemented with high quality.
- Iterative delivery: Participate in agile ceremonies and continuously refine designs based on feedback and evolving requirements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Product partnership: Work closely with Product Managers to understand business goals, success metrics, and user problems.
- Clinical collaboration: Partner with clinicians and subject matter experts to translate complex healthcare workflows into intuitive interfaces.
- Engineering collaboration: Maintain strong alignment with Engineering to ensure smooth handoffs and consistent execution.
- Organizational alignment: Serve as a design voice across teams, helping align user experience decisions with broader product goals.
User Research & Continuous Improvement
- Research and validation: Conduct user research, usability testing, and workflow validation to inform design decisions.
- Data-informed iteration: Leverage usage data, feedback, and insights to iterate and improve user experiences.
- Measure success: Partner with Product to assess adoption, usability, and engagement metrics tied to design outcomes.
- Continuous optimization: Proactively identify experience improvements that reduce friction, improve efficiency, and enhance satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 3–6+ years of experience in UI/UX or Product Design for web-based applications.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design work, including complex or workflow-driven products.
- Proven ability to translate complex requirements into simple, intuitive user experiences.
- Experience designing enterprise, SaaS, or data-heavy applications (healthcare experience is a plus).
- Proficiency with modern design tools (Figma or similar).
- Strong understanding of usability, accessibility (WCAG), and responsive design principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
