About the Role:
We are looking for an adventurous, passionate, and accomplished UI/UX designer with world class design sensibility to join our design team in Shenzhen, China.
The right candidate loves music as we do, brings a fresh perspective on design & innovation and has the ability to understand and translate latest fashion, interior and cultural design trends into iconic product experiences for Harman’s iconic brands, including JBL, Harman Kardon and AKG.
You will take responsibility in projects with hands-on design skilling in a very fast-paced, collaborative environment. You understand that great design and details brings value to our customers as well as builds strong brands.

What You Will Do
Strong sense in graphical and physical user interface and user experience
Bring beautiful digital and physical user interfaces design a wide range of industries
Spot lifestyle tendencies and turn them into new interfaces along with multidisciplinary teams
Spot new business opportunities by design thinking methods
Lead projects, deliver presentations and maintain project manager contact
Ability to convey concepts through wireframes, flows and mockups and manage quality of the SW implementation result
Work with and guide other designers to execute projects
What You Need to Be Successful
- Passionate in sound, design, technology and willing to meet new challenges
- Bachelor/Master degree in graphic, multimedia, industrial or UIUX design
- Skilled professional with 3+ years of experience
- Fluent in graphic design tools, such as Figma, Sketch, Photoshop and Illustrator. Multimedia tools like After effects is a plus
- Competent in project management
- A person with great eyes for details
- Possessing excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Outgoing, passionate and with an excellent sense of humor
- Advanced knowledge of English, other languages are a plus
- Knowledge of programming, hardware prototyping is a plus
- Experience in 3D & CAD suits such as Blender, C4D, Rhino and KeyShot is a plus
- Portfolio is required
