Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled and creative UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team at AHOY. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing user interfaces that not only look great but also enhance user satisfaction. You will collaborate closely with project managers, developers, and other designers to create a seamless design process, ensuring that user needs are met effectively. - Design engaging and functional user interfaces for websites and applications.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and improve designs.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that represent design concepts.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure that designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
- Engage in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to enhance product usability.
- Stay updated on the latest design trends and techniques to inspire and optimize our designs.
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing results.
- Effectively communicate design ideas and rationale to stakeholders.
- Maintain a cohesive brand identity across all digital platforms.
- Work closely with the marketing team to design promotional materials.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills.
- Expertise in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and practices.
- Ability to create responsive designs that adapt to different devices.
- Excellent visual design skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
