World Business Lenders (WBL) provides general purpose short-term real estate collateralized commercial loans to a broad customer base comprised of small and medium sized businesses throughout the United States that lack access to traditional funding.
WBL is a U.S.-based company with a 100% remote workforce.
This is a remote Contract/Consultant position.
Working hours will be 9:00am-6:00pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday.
The job requires excellent oral and written command of the English language.

About the Job:
As a UX/UI Designer within our IT department, you will be responsible for designing intuitive and engaging user interfaces for our web-based software platforms. You’ll collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure a seamless user experience that aligns with business needs and technical requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Design and prototype user interfaces for web-based software applications, ensuring usability and visual consistency.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into user-friendly designs.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform and validate design decisions.
- Maintain and contribute to design systems, style guides, and UI standards across projects.
- 4+ years of experience designing user interfaces for web-based applications.
- Must have experience with Adobe XD or Figma for UI/UX design and prototyping.
- Strong understanding of Material Design framework and principles.
- Familiarity with Atomic Design methodology is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
