We are looking for a UI Motion Designer to join us as we build cutting-edge technology solutions! This is your opportunity to be part of a team that is committed to delivering best in class service to our customers.
In this role, you will play a key role in crafting engaging and visually dynamic motion graphics for the user interface, ensuring a seamless and exciting experience for users. Collaborating closely with the UI team, you will bring screen transitions, animated UI elements, and other motion graphics to life while maintaining alignment with the product's vision and aesthetic. This position is perfect for someone with a passion for user-centered design, strong technical skills in motion graphics, and an interest in motorsport or gaming.
Responsibilities:
- Design and produce high-quality motion graphic assets, including videos, screen transitions, and animated UI elements.
- Collaborate with the UI design team to enhance the product's user experience through motion graphics.
- Maintain consistency with the overall design aesthetic, brand guidelines, and product vision.
- Create animations to assist users in understanding the interface and provide feedback on interactions.
- Work with the development team to implement and optimize motion graphics for performance.
- Manage timely deliveries of assets in a fast-paced production environment while balancing quality and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) principles.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop.
- Demonstrated ability to create dynamic motion graphics with a cultivated aesthetic sense.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as a self-motivated team player.
- Ability to take direction, incorporate feedback, and quickly adapt to new tools or software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of UI implementation within game engines and understanding their limitations.
- Skills in post-production and motion design, including color grading, typography, and compositing.
- Familiarity with Unreal Engine, Unity, or similar game engines.
- Enthusiasm for automotive culture and passion for racing games.
Portfolio Submissions:
- Examples of graphic design work.
- Motion design samples demonstrating transitions, pacing, rhythm, and flow.
- High-quality motion design examples.
- A demo reel or portfolio with a detailed breakdown of relevant work.
Salary Range
Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic based ranges for Washington state: $80,000 - $85,000 USD/annually. The salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
