Outline of Duties & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and operate modern web applications, APIs, backend services, and integrations across distributed systems.
- Build intuitive, performant, accessible, and maintainable user experiences using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and related frontend technologies.
- Support cloud-native applications, APIs, data integrations, and related services. Azure experience is a plus.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, observability tools, and deployment processes to deliver reliable production software.
- Collaborate with product, UX, engineering, infrastructure, and management partners; communicate clearly and help move work forward through ambiguity.
- Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly while maintaining ownership of design decisions, testing, security, maintainability, and production readiness.
Experience, Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of professional software design and development experience.
- Strong frontend development experience with Angular preferred, or comparable modern frameworks such as React, Vue, Next, or Nuxt.
- Solid understanding of frontend architecture, state management, responsive UI development, asynchronous programming, and reactive patterns such as RxJS or Redux.
- Experience with backend development using C# and modern .NET, preferably .NET 8 or later. Node.js, TypeScript, Scala, or functional backend experience is a plus.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, API gateways, authentication and authorization patterns, SQL and NoSQL concepts, and cloud-native services. Azure experience is a plus.
- Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, monitoring, and testing practices using tools such as GitHub Actions, Bicep, New Relic, Application Insights, Jasmine, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Hands-on experience using AI-assisted developer tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, or GitHub Copilot, with the ability to evaluate AI-generated code critically and produce maintainable, well-tested software.
- Familiarity with LLM integration concepts, reusable AI workflows, MCP-enabled capabilities, Kafka, or event streaming is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience developing production mobile applications for iOS and Android, including requirements interpretation, application design, implementation, testing, debugging, release support, and ongoing maintenance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate deployments, document decisions, mentor teammates, and make sound tradeoffs while operating through ambiguity.
