Fusion Enterprise Solutions is seeking a team leader to manage a team of security technicians performing technical security installation and maintenance OCONUS for the US Department of State Overseas Building Operations Division. This candidate must be experienced in OBO TSS security installations and able to identify all contract tasks and all possible work outside of the contract for change orders.


The right candidate will be able to travel overseas to service embassies and consulates, often in possible high threat locations. Additional requirements include:

  • Efficient in Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, and Project Manager.

  • Thorough understanding of OBO/DOD technical security projects and components.

  • Ability to install full product line of security products and able to assist others in installing and understanding installation tasks.

  • Capable of reading and understanding construction drawings, installation details, point-to-point schematics and developing red-line or as-builts drawings.

Additional Qualifications

  • Read and understand blueprints.

  • Well-versed in low voltage electronics and circuitry.

  • Mechanical ability to install different product types in various installing formats.

  • Working knowledge of both CCTV and IPCCTV closed circuit video systems, certifications in of these systems a plus.

  • Working knowledge of network switching equipment for closed network designs, as well as an understanding of IP protocols and network connectivity.

  • Fiber and Cat6 installation and termination, BICSI Technician certification preferred.

  • Access control programing a plus, Software House certified preferred.

  • Ability to install and program Intrusion Detection Systems – alarms, detectors, and sensors.

  • Ability to install and program Public Address Systems – emergency notification systems and intercoms.

  • Ability to supervise security technicians, handling daily work reports and conducting safety meetings.

  • Ability to be the after-hours point of contact for the installation team.

Requirements

  • 20 current years of relevant experience in technical security systems similar to those employed by the DOS or DOD.

  • Top Secret Security Clearance.

  • Ability to deal with stress of timelines and delays, interface with government or prime contract representatives and clearly and effectively deal with issues that arise at sites.

  • Must be in good physical health and be fit to travel and deploy in areas with limited medical options.
