CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a TSM&O Engineer to join our Traffic & ITS Team in Miami, FL, where you’ll design and implement forward‑thinking traffic engineering and ITS solutions that support safer, smarter, and more reliable transportation networks. This is your opportunity to drive high‑impact projects, mentor junior engineers, and support the ongoing evolution of smart and resilient infrastructure.

What You'll Do:
  • Provide advanced judgement and analysis techniques to complete complex engineering designs, technical reports, specifications, and contract documents for traffic engineering and intelligent transportation systems projects, including signal systems and traffic operations
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of projects with other engineering disciplines and project management staff
  • Monitor project progress and performance to ensure efficient production and minimize issues in critical transportation infrastructure
  • Complete projects within budget and scheduling constraints, supporting safe, efficient, and cost‑effective mobility solutions
  • Provide guidance and technical review for junior engineering staff
What You Bring:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required
  • Minimum of 4 years of discipline-specific engineering experience required
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required
  • FDOT experience preferred
  • Signal timing, traffic operations experience preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.), as well as Microsoft Office
  • Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred
  • IMSA level II certification preferred

Salary Range:

$110,000 - $130,000


Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
