About the Role

We are looking for a Truck & Trailer Service Manager to join us on our journey to facilitate a digital revolution in the B2B supply chain.
The Truck & Trailer Service Manager is responsible for day-to-day shop operations, scheduling, all asset data input, ensuring assets are properly assigned to carriers, ensuring asset status is correct, coordinating needed maintenance and/or pickup, and parts & service sales. This position will occasionally be utilized to assist field operations as needed or required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing daily operations of the service department, including scheduling, client service, service sales, inventory, and vendor management.
  • Ensure that all repairs and maintenance services are completed in a timely and efficient manner, with a focus on quality and client service.
  • Maintain accurate records of all service and repair orders, including customer information, asset information, and work performed.
  • Provide estimates and quotes to clients for repairs and maintenance services; work with clients to ensure their needs are met.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, vendors, and co-workers.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies to increase profitability and efficiency.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned or required.


Qualifications/Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in automotive technology or business management preferred.
  • Three or more years of experience in service advising, parts sales, or shop management with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and client service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and clients in an organized fashion.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and automotive service management software.
  • Valid drivers license and a clean driving record.
  • ASE certifications a plus, but not required.
  • Former experience as a technician a plus, but not required.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.


Compensation: $85-95k
