Trim Engineer-Entry Level

Education

Last Semester of Engineering, Textiles, Industrial Design, etc. (or other suitable technical degree preferred).  
None to 1year job related experience (Preferable)

Technical Skills.

Willing to develop ability on:

Seat Patterning - Able to complete seat patterns Understanding and applying one or more basic problem-solving techniques (eg. BEP, Kepner-Tregoe, Six-Sigma, etc.) to help solve a real-world issue. Knowledge of Manufacturing Process and requirements of a Trimcover Understand and basic operating of seat equipment used in trim cover manufacturing (NC Cutter, Sewing Machines etc.) Trim Cover Sewing Safety Requirements within a trim cover Standard components used within a trim cover. Knowledge of Material specifications and guidelines(Cloth, Leather, Vynil,etc) Understanding of 2D component and product drawings. Change management and BOM control Proficiency in Trim cover development from  a 2D or 3D information source(ie drawings or CAD).   Basic understanding of 3D CAD Models and Vehicle environments.

Soft Skills.

Accountable Ownership Customer Care Willing to Learn Time Management Planning Self Motivated Able to work on challenging Environment
