The Trend Forecaster supports the Trend Forecasting and Design teams by researching, interpreting, and translating fashion trends into actionable insights for product development.

The role is ideal for a professional with a background in Fashion Design, combining strong creative sensibility with a solid understanding of the technical and product development aspects of the fashion process.


CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Research and analyze fashion, lifestyle, and consumer trends across global markets
  • Develop trend mood boards, concept presentations, and visual tools to support seasonal collections
  • Translate trend insights into clear and usable inputs for Design and Product Development teams
  • Support product development activities, ensuring alignment between trend direction and final product execution
  • Prepare and update technical sheets to support product development and sampling phases
  • Collaborate closely with Design, Merchandising, and Production teams throughout the seasonal calendar
  • Support sample reviews and fitting sessions when required, contributing to design refinement
  • Maintain and update internal trend archives and documentation
  • Ensure timely delivery of trend materials in line with seasonal deadlines


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design or related field
  • 2–3 years of experience within a fashion company in trend forecasting, design, or product development roles (internships included)
  • Strong fashion sense and solid knowledge of trends
  • Proven ability to create trend mood boards and concept presentations
  • Good understanding of product development processes and garment construction
  • Confidence in preparing and managing technical sheets
  • Ability to balance creative vision and technical requirements
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proactive, collaborative, and hands-on approach
  • Fluent English (written and spoken)
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop); PowerPoint required
