Monitors the net cash position of the Company and ensures that all cash and collections transactions are recorded to the general ledger and customer accounts properly. Supports all Treasury functions and works cross-functionally throughout the business.

• Establishes the daily cash position and maintains records of daily transaction activity to determine daily balances for all corporate bank accounts.
• Recommends transfers between accounts to maintain appropriate cash balances. 
• Applies cash to appropriate customer accounts and reviews the resulting application of cash to ensure that the appropriate line items have been removed.
• Records manual journal entries in a timely manner for the transactions that are not booked through the BAI file process.
• May initiate electronic transfers including wires and ACH’s
• Works closely with the Credit, AP, Payroll, and Consumer Direct teams regarding disbursements of funds, receipt of funds and other items (e.g. returns/rejects).
• Coordinates with Credit staff to resolve unapplied payments and open credits and deductions.
• Investigates unusual transactions and collects supporting information as needed.
• Identifies recurring receivables account problems and recommends solutions.
• Communicates effectively with third party service providers who support our treasury functions (e.g. bankers, merchant processors, etc.).
• Assists in the implementation and testing of new software and upgrades to current software.
• Completes month-end closing procedures.
• Performs duties consistent with the company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies.
• Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Detail oriented
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks and meet all important deadlines.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

Working Conditions

Wolverine Worldwide has a flexible, hybrid work schedule, with three days in office and two days remote.
