Treasury & Safeguarding Manager
About Satispay
Satispay was born to revolutionise everyday payments – making them simple, fair, and accessible to everyone. Now, the focus has moved even further, aiming to shape the future of money. We're a movement empowering millions of people, driven by a shared purpose to tackle big challenges. And we’re just getting started. We move quickly, think boldly, and trust each other to challenge the norm, learning and growing as we go. If you’re looking for more than just your next job – if you want to build something impactful with a talented team – you’re in the right place.
What you’ll be doing
As a Treasury & Safeguarding Manager, you will be a central figure in managing the financial heartbeat of the Satispay Group, reporting directly to the Finance Director. Your responsibilities will be structured around four key pillars:
Treasury operations & investment management
Manage Group’s daily cash positioning: execute, settle, and reconcile treasury flows (SEPA, short‑term investments like time deposits and MMFs).
Oversee corporate and segregated portfolios, optimizing security, liquidity, and return per policy, and safeguarding; maintain segregated accounts.
Sustain cash flow via accounts receivable and collections; enforce robust controls over the movement and protection of safeguarded funds.
Regulatory reporting & capital adequacy
Own regulatory capital: calculate, monitor, stress test, and report to ensure continuous compliance with prudential regulations.
Produce accurate, on-time regulatory statistics and financial reports for all relevant authorities.
Lead safeguarding governance: interpret requirements, track PSD2/E-Money and related EU changes, and update policies and procedures to mitigate risk.
Financial analysis, accounting & closing
Develop and maintain cash flow forecasting models, preparing insightful analyses of actual vs. forecasted performance to support strategic decisions.
Contribute directly to the month-end closing process by performing monthly reconciliations of e-money liabilities and managing the accounting for all corporate bank and credit card transactions in our ERP system.
Bank relationship & stakeholder management
Assist in managing relationships with our banking partners, handling due diligence and KYC requests, and sourcing new products to enhance our cash management strategies.
Act as a key treasury point of contact for other teams, providing expert support for new company projects and initiatives.
Expect challenges, collaboration, and the freedom to bring your ideas to life. Things change quickly here, so be ready to adapt, take initiative, and shape your role as we grow.
Who we’re looking for
We need a problem-solver who loves teamwork and gets things done. If you're curious and ready for real ownership, you'll fit in! Does this sound like you?
Relevant education and experience. You have over 5 years of experience in corporate treasury or financial institution back-office/treasury roles. Proven expertise with treasury management systems, banking platforms, and SEPA instruments. Background in banking, particularly in back-office operations or financial product development, is a strong asset for future projects.
Strong technical and analytical skills. You are proficient in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel, including complex functions, dynamic modeling, and dashboard creation. Experience with SAP accounting system is a significant advantage.
Structured communication and collaboration. You are fluent in written and spoken English. Skilled in engaging with various stakeholders to address inquiries and streamline processes effectively.
Regulatory Awareness. You have a solid understanding of financial regulations, especially SEPA compliance and PSD2 requirements.
Passionate and Adaptable. You are enthusiastic about the payment industry and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You have a positive, can-do attitude and are always seeking opportunities to learn and grow.
