Job Summary

Responsible for developing new business and retention of treasury management business for an assigned portfolio, market segment (including specialty, Commercial Banking, Private Wealth, - Consumer) and geographic territory. Duties include preparation and delivery of consultative sales calling to current and prospective clients to discuss their banking needs, analyzing client cash flows, and creating proposals to outline the appropriate Treasury Management products and services and assisting with the design and ensuring the proper installation of treasury management services. Primary responsibilities include calling on current portfolio and prospective clients in either a virtual setting or face to face. Focusing on their banking needs, analyzing client cash flows by utilizing the Consultative Approach which could include the working capital model and business process reviews and creating proposals to outline the appropriate Treasury Management products and services. Assists in the negotiations of proposal letters, fee agreements, final contracts, and implementing new Treasury Management services. Works closely with Relationship Partners on their business development calling efforts and conducts training sessions to keep them abreast of product offerings and enhancements.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ability to provide consultative sales approach to new and existing clients in either a remote or face to face environment
  • Effectively manages multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment related to new sales, cross sell, issue resolution and more each day to drive a positive customer experience.
  • Leverages cross sell data tool on a daily basis to identify potential cross sell opportunities in support of revenue goals. Identifies opportunities to deepen existing customer relationships by offering solutions to meet identified needs in a knowledgeable, accurate and professional manner.
  • Assists in negotiations for non-analyzed and/or analyzed accounts to include proposal letters, fee agreements and final contracts. Participates in an active calling program to seek out prospective customers.
  • Is accountable for implementation oversight whether through their own actions or through partnership with the Sales Associate/Onboarder. Contacts new customers to ensure satisfaction with service delivery and the smooth implementation of new Treasury services..
  • Work in partnership with our partners (Relationship Managers, Consumer employees, Private Wealth Advisors) on business development activities to meet strategic goals of assigned markets and segments.
  • Maintains knowledge about commercial banking products to ensure regulatory compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Conducts training sessions on Treasury Products, product enhancements and updated features to the bank team and delivers to customers in a virtual or in person meeting as needed.
  • Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Minimum Experience:

One year of sales and/or commercial/consumer banking experience including calling in a virtual sales environment.
