TMS administration | Platform governance | Operational resilience

Position Summary

The Treasury Kyriba Admin & System Analyst serves as the primary functional administrator and subject-matter expert for the Kyriba treasury management system. The role safeguards the platform's day-to-day operation across enabled modules, including cash management, bank connectivity, payments, forecasting and reporting, while ensuring configuration remains controlled, documented and aligned with business requirements.

This position sits at the intersection of Treasury, IT, banking partners and Kyriba support. It manages access, workflows, reference data, interfaces, releases and enhancements; leads troubleshooting and testing; and maintains strong governance over segregation of duties, audit evidence and platform health. The analyst also helps shape the TMS roadmap and converts treasury needs into sustainable system solutions.

Key Responsibilities

·       Administer Kyriba users, roles, permissions, approval workflows, organizational structures, bank accounts, reference data and other functional configuration in accordance with approved governance standards.

·       Support reliable daily operations across enabled Kyriba modules, including cash positioning, bank reporting, payments, liquidity forecasting, reporting and related interfaces.

·       Monitor bank connectivity, file transmissions, scheduled jobs, interfaces and data-processing results; triage failures, assess business impact and coordinate timely resolution.

·       Manage incidents and service requests through clear prioritization, root-cause analysis, escalation and stakeholder communication, partnering with IT, banks and Kyriba support as required.

·       Own functional change management for configuration updates and enhancements, including requirements, solution design, risk assessment, approvals, testing, implementation and post-production validation.

·       Plan and execute release reviews, regression testing and user acceptance testing; maintain reusable test scripts and evidence for critical treasury processes.

·       Maintain current configuration inventories, interface specifications, runbooks, access matrices, support procedures and decision logs.

·       Operate platform controls, including periodic access reviews, segregation-of-duties monitoring, privileged-access oversight, change records and audit support.

·       Translate treasury requirements into scalable system capabilities and maintain a prioritized product backlog and roadmap with Treasury leadership and technology partners.

·       Provide user guidance, training and knowledge transfer; promote consistent use of Kyriba functionality and reduce dependency on manual workarounds.

Required Qualifications

·       Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business, Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

·       Typically 3–5 years of experience supporting a treasury management system, financial platform or comparable enterprise application in a controlled environment.

·       Hands-on experience with Kyriba configuration and administration, or substantial experience with a comparable TMS and the ability to develop Kyriba expertise rapidly.

·       Understanding of corporate treasury processes, particularly cash management, bank connectivity, payments, forecasting and reporting.

·       Experience with incident, change, release and test management, including disciplined documentation and evidence retention.

·       Strong problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to coordinate across Treasury, IT, vendors and banking partners during time-sensitive issues.

Preferred Qualifications

Deep functional experience in multiple Kyriba modules and familiarity with Kyriba APIs, connectivity services, data exchange and reporting capabilities.

Knowledge of payment and bank-reporting formats and channels, such as ISO 20022, SWIFT, host-to-host and common statement or payment file structures.

Experience with identity and access management, service-management tools, ERP integrations, middleware, secure file transfer or data platforms.

Kyriba certification or relevant CTP, ACT, ITIL, information-systems, controls or project-management credentials.

Core Competencies

·       Platform ownership: Treats Kyriba as a business-critical product, balancing operational stability, user needs, technical dependencies and roadmap value.

·       Systems thinking: Understands how configuration, interfaces, reference data and upstream or downstream applications affect treasury outcomes.

·       Structured troubleshooting: Uses evidence, logs, process knowledge and disciplined escalation to isolate issues and restore service quickly.

·       Governance and controls: Applies least privilege, segregation of duties, change discipline and traceable documentation consistently.

·       Requirements translation: Converts treasury needs into clear functional requirements, testable acceptance criteria and supportable solutions.

·       Service orientation: Communicates calmly, sets expectations and equips users with practical guidance during both routine support and incidents.

·       Success Measures / KPIs

·       Illustrative measures should be translated into annual targets based on operating model, systems scope and role seniority.

·       Platform availability: Availability during critical treasury windows; successful completion of scheduled jobs and core daily processes.

·       Incident performance: Time to acknowledge and resolve incidents, recurrence rate, severity mix and completion of root-cause actions.

·       Connectivity quality: Bank and interface success rates, failed-file volumes, exception aging and timely restoration of interrupted services.

·       Change quality: Release success rate, escaped defects, regression coverage, on-time testing and post-implementation stability.

·       Access and control compliance: Access-review completion, segregation-of-duties exceptions, privileged-access findings and audit observations.

·       Roadmap and adoption: Enhancements delivered to plan, user adoption of enabled capabilities, reduction in workarounds and stakeholder satisfaction.
