Treasury Controller

We are looking for a Treasury Controller to Tietoevry Treasury team in Riga. Treasury Controller works as a Controller for the group treasury. Ideally you have gained experience in controlling and have a good understanding of accounting and possess strong IT skills. As a person, you are a team-player with good problem-solving and professional communication skills.

In this role, you will be responsible for the financial and operational control of the treasury. You will be working as part of our treasury team in close co-operation with our front-office and back-office teams and with Group Treasurer. In this role you will collaborate with different teams and stakeholders e.g. group finance teams, finance teams in different countries, external advisors, auditors, banks etc.

Responsibilities:

• Financial and operational risk control of treasury
• Coordination, preparation and development of internal Treasury reporting (financial and operational)
• Preparations of disclosures according to IFRS for the annual and quarterly reports regarding financial instruments
• Participation in treasury development activities
• Internal financial training regarding treasury transaction handling
• Monitoring user rights of Treasury Management System and bank accounts/bank e-banking platforms
• Contingency back-up for the Treasury Accountant handling treasury back-office tasks in case of emergencies
• Other treasury related tasks, as requested by the company

Requirements:

• Experience in accounting and understanding of general accounting concepts/regulatory IFRS standards
• Good understanding of the financial reporting
• Strong IT skills, especially in MS Excel
• Great communication skills
• Proactive, independent and well organized
• Fluent spoken & written English and Latvian
• Willingness to constantly learn & develop
