Join our dynamic Treasury/Chief Investment Office (TCIO) Finance team as an Analyst, where you will be working with a talented group of professionals in the TCIO Controller function within Liquidity & Regulatory Reporting team. As an Analyst in the Treasury/Chief Investment Office Asia Finance function, you will be responsible for supporting US liquidity and regulatory reporting for TCIO APAC region. You will have the opportunity to assist with the Treasurers’ ongoing monitoring of TCIO’s liquidity position, responsible for conducting and maintaining robust reporting frameworks and tools for TCIO’s liquidity analysis and US regulatory reporting.
Job responsibilities
- Work closely with US Regulatory Reporting and Liquidity Reporting team within TCIO Asia Finance function
- Support reporting and analytics to ensure liquidity position is accurately reflected in various liquidity reports, including available collaterals reporting to Head Office
- Collaborate with team to partner with key stakeholders such as Global TCIO Liquidity Controllers, Corporate Treasury Middle Office, Portfolio Managers, Firmwide Asset & Liabilities Management Analytics team, APAC Liquidity Management team and Liquidity Risk Oversight team to explain, investigate and resolve funding movements for individual entities in APAC
- Collaborate with the team to partner with Global TCIO Reporting team, Firm-wide External Reporting Controllers to ensure accuracy in ledger at global level and compliance with regulatory reporting requirements
- Assist validating Risk Weighted Assets and provide analytics for management reporting and global P&A team
- Understand drivers and financial impacts, provide ad hoc business analysis for decision making support to senior management and business heads
- Contribute to continuous automation and improvement of the key processes and controls through modern data, business intelligence, advanced analytics solutions, and AI-enabled solutions
- Contribute to New Business Initiatives Assessment including active participation in on-board new products & support defining finance and liquidity workflow, analysis/advice around accounting booking strategies & operational procedures
- Participate and contribute to firm-wide liquidity and external reporting initiatives
- Provide support for ongoing review of current processes, identify opportunities for improving efficiency & controls and delivering tactical/strategic solutions
- Provide support for any ad hoc requests and queries from various stakeholders
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or a relevant discipline
- Highly motivated self-starter who is adaptive, fast-learning, responsive and detail-minded with strong analytical skills
- Good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written
- Ability to work under pressure with strong time management and multi-tasking skills
- Sound control mindset and understanding of the control environment
- Knowledge of US GAAP and advanced MS Excel skills are essential
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience and knowledge of US regulatory and liquidity reporting with top tier bank
- Completion of professional bodies examination (e.g. CPA or CFA)
- Experience with one or more of Databricks, Snowflake, LLM/Copilot, SQL, Python, Alteryx etc.
