Start your adventure with Zip
As a Treasury Analyst, you sit at the center of CMTO's daily analytical and operational rhythm, working closely with the Director of Liquidity, Funding & Reporting and the Senior Treasury Operations Analyst. You are the connective tissue between analysis and execution: gathering the data that feeds the cash flow forecast, preparing the reports that go to lenders, tracking covenant and availability positions, and making sure routine monitoring happens consistently and accurately, so the Director can focus on the judgment calls that need deeper expertise. You will grow quickly here, building a genuine understanding of how a treasury function operates across forecasting, lender management, and cash operations.
Our Cash Management and Treasury Operations group sits at the intersection of the business, its funding structures, and day-to-day cash execution. It is a great place to develop deep treasury knowledge and grow within a fast-moving fintech and lending business.
Interesting problems you’ll get to solve
- Own and validate the data inputs behind the cash flow forecast (collections, originations, payroll timing, vendor payment schedules, and facility draw activity), keeping assumptions documented and investigating anomalies so the model is always traceable and auditable
- Analyze variances between forecast and actual cash movements, flag and explain meaningful deviations to the Director, and support scenario and sensitivity analysis with prepared data sets, output summaries, and recommendations
- Compile daily and weekly borrowing base data across all warehouse facilities and prepare borrowing base certificates for Director review and sign-off
- Maintain a clean, current record of facility positions, draws, paydowns, and availability, and flag threshold proximity to the Director early
- Calculate and validate covenant compliance across bank partner, warehouse, and securitization facilities, keeping a monitoring tracker with current positions, thresholds, and next reporting dates
- Flag approaching thresholds and escalate potential compliance items ahead of reporting deadlines, and prepare covenant compliance certificates for Director review and delivery
- Prepare and reconcile data packages and report drafts for lenders and investors, including securitization reporting inputs, and partner with the Senior Treasury Operations Analyst so operational cash data flows accurately into lender reports
- Run the reporting calendar across all facilities and counterparties so no deadline is missed, and support ad hoc lender data requests by gathering and organizing information for Director review
- Build the data inputs and draft outputs for the internal reporting suite (daily cash, weekly liquidity, monthly funding summary), maintain reporting templates, and support ad hoc analyses by gathering data and summarizing findings
