The Treasury Analyst has 3 areas of focus:
- She/he supports the Head of Corporate Finance and Inhouse bank in his day-to-day activities with a particular focus on Regional Treasury for Europe and Asia (e.g. capital structure reviews, local intercompany funding, regional cash and risk management).
- She/he serves as back-up for other Treasury front office roles.
- She/he runs and supports strategic Treasury initiatives and global projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support head of Corporate Finance in day-to-day activities
- Manage regional treasury activities for European and Asian subsidiaries including capital structure reviews, intercompany lending and cash repatriation.
- Single point of contact for regional stakeholders from the business, finance, and other functions in need of treasury advisory & support
- Managing relationships with 3rd party stakeholders and in particular regional bank relationships
- Managing financial risks arising in the region (e.g. Liquidity, FX, counterparty risks)
- Serve as second backup for front-office roles.
- Run and support strategic Treasury initiatives and global projects.
- Perform studies to support treasury decisions
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in the field of Finance/Economics is required. Master’s degree in the field of Finance/Economics is preferred.
- Must be business fluent in English.
- Prior experience in corporate treasury or equivalent combination (e.g. banking).
- Highly motivated, agile quick learner, self-discipline, high responsibility, team-player, accurate and attention to detail expected.
- Must have a basic accounting knowledge and a strong understanding of macroeconomics including financial markets and financial instruments.
- Strong IT affinity. MS-Office skills, mainly Excel with Power Query knowledge preferred.
- High affinity to numbers, strong analytical skills.
