We're excited to invite an experienced Cardiac & Vascular Sonographers to join our Travel Team and support a clinic sites in the Tallahassee, Florida area. In this role, you’ll ensure continuity of exceptional care while enjoying the adventure of working in new locations. What You'll Do:
  • Perform sonographic procedures
  • Travel to multiple healthcare sites within the assigned region (may include extended commute times)
  • Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history
  • Create reports to assist the physician with documentation
  • Evaluate sonograms to identify or rule-out patient/fetus anomalies
  • Communicate sonographic findings to physician
  • Provide visual sonographic guidance to complete successful amniocentesis
  • Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery
  • Restock sonography rooms with required supplies for sonography performance
  • Other duties assigned by managers

IS THIS YOU?
  • Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited educational program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography  
  • Registered Vascular Technologist Certification (RVT) 
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)(RCS)(RCCS) 
  • Experience performing vascular ultrasound exams
  • Knowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related specialty
  • Knowledge of applied physics related to ultrasound
  • Compliant with HIPAA as it relates to the use of EMR systems
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Calm under pressure and compassionate with patients
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future
 
DO YOU SCORE ANY BONUS POINTS?
  • Bachelor's degree in Sonography or other related fields of study

RISK OF EXPOSURE TO BLOODBORNE PATHOGENS: Category 1 - Tasks involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.
