Key Responsibilities:
- Construct, calibrate, analyze, test, and document inputs for travel demand models.
- Analyze socioeconomic data, household travel surveys, and origin-destination data under supervision.
- Assist with model validation against existing conditions to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Support the team in preparing reports and presentations related to transportation modeling projects.
- Collaborate with professionals across planning, engineering, and data analysis disciplines.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or master’s program in Transportation Engineering.
- Preferred completion of the following courses or similar: CE392H & CRP384 (Urban Transportation Planning – Travel Demand Forecasting), CE 321 (Transportation Systems), and CE 391J (Transportation Planning: Methodology and Techniques).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with transportation modeling concepts and data analysis tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with GIS or transportation modeling software is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Self-motivated with a keen interest in transportation infrastructure and regional planning.

- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
