Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Travel Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to support the Locums Sales team while delivering top-notch locum tenens staffing solutions. As a Travel Consultant, you will work closely with healthcare providers, clients, and internal teams to ensure the seamless coordination and execution of staffing needs.

This role will be filled in our Irving, Texas headquarters or remote U.S.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor Logistics inbox for travel related inquiries and requests
  • Prioritize travel tasks and add confirmations and relevant updates on progress
  • Document all changes to travel bookings in SFDC
  • Manage and apply clinician reward number profiles for various booking vendors
  • Obtain manual receipts for direct bookings and upload to SFDC
  • R&D travel solutions depending on providers’ preferences and needs while aligning with client budgets
  • Document completed travel bookings in SFDC for downstream client billing 
  • Monitor cancelled shifts for travelers to cancel any bookings before previous travel date
  • Rotate assigned weeks and weekends to cover after-hour travel emergencies
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare management, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience:
    • Six months of booking travel experience
    • A demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
    • Experience with Salesforce a plus
Skills
  • Strong organizational abilities
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • High attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Proficiency in Google Suite products
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Compensation 

The US total compensation range for this full-time position is inclusive of a base salary. Our ranges are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the approximate total target compensation for the position across the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including relevant skills, experience, and education/training. Please note that the compensation listed does not include benefits.
