The main purpose of this position is to provide travel arrangements for employees and guests of Werner Enterprises, Werner Maintenance and Drivers. Schedules domestic and international airline reservations, book hotel accommodations and reserve rental cars.

  ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

The job functions listed below represent the essential job duties and responsibilities of the above-listed position.

      Confirm travel arrangements for associates traveling on company business and within the parameters of the Company’s Corporate Travel & Expense Policy.

      Process changes and cancellations to minimize penalties and lost funds for the Company and tracking unused airline tickets.

      Working knowledge of online booking tools and perform quality control of reservations.

      Act as consultant to travelers by offering lowest logical airfares and use of preferred vendors.

      Assist with corporate jet arrangements and/or meeting arrangements.

      Assist with problem solving as related to credit card or direct bill charges.

      Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisory personnel.

      Timely and regular attendance according to the scheduled shift as determined by supervisory

       personnel.

   KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

      The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

      Working knowledge of GDS systems such as Travelport.

      Knowledge of air, car and hotel policies and rules.

      Strong organizational and time management skills.

      Good telephone skills with an emphasis on customer service and consulting.

      Proven capability to work independently with little or no supervision.

      4+ years’ experience working with corporate travel or related travel industry experience.

      Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
