What You’ll Get to Do! 

The Travel Analyst Supervisor oversees the 24 hour, 7 days a week operation and supervises Travel Analysts assigned to different schedules. Verifies and confirms all scheduled trips in a timely and efficient manner. Follows contract terms and conditions to ensure program compliance and company policies are adhered to and followed by the Travel Analysts. Ensures all information entered in MVM’s proprietary transport system is correct and completed in a timely manner. Ensures all correspondence and agencies are notified of scheduled transports. Coordinates and works in conjunction with field staff for TS availability while maintaining enough flexibility to meet project demands.

Key functions you will perform! 

  • Implements and maintains the company’s and client’s policies and procedures and ensures that changes in policies and/or procedures are communicated to the team.

  • Enforces program changes as specified by the Project Director, Program Manager, and Command Center Manager and disseminate guidance to personnel.

  • Ensures ongoing compliance with contract and company policies, procedures and guidance, with applicable laws and regulations.

  • Maintains a consistent level of communication with all employees, other departments, executive management, stakeholders, and customer.

  • Receives and reviews transportation requests for accuracy to coordinate travel; organizes and oversees workflow and staff to ensure Travel Analysts understand their duties or delegated tasks.

  • Ability to respond to multiple requests pertaining to travel requests.

  • Ensures that all transportation requests are completed within the contract required timeframe upon receipt.

  • Responsible for creating ground transportation routes and maximizing air travel to accommodate transportation requests.

  • Keeps constant communication with both management and client to provide updates.

  • Stays abreast of all command center emails; responds to emails accordingly and in a timely manner.

  • Works with management and field to identify the appropriately trained and available Transportation Specialists based on age, gender, and special needs.

  • Responsible for assigning all available staff on trips, ensuring we are maximizing staff and managing overtime.

  • Remains aware of travel-related information that may cause delays or prevent flight connections from occurring and communicates this information to the Transportation Specialist in route as well as site management.

  • Coordinates with team to adjust and close work orders daily.

  • Prepares and submits daily reports as needed.

  • Monitors time and attendance and the team’s work output to ensure technical performance and productivity.

  • Provides technical leadership, support, and guidance to the team; coaches team members to ensure each member can make sound decisions pertaining to travel coordination.

  • Identifies performance/behavioral issues and/or violations of company’s and client’s policies and ensure small corrections are made; escalates concerns and issues to the Command Center Manager to be addressed and/or corrected.

  • Provides and assists Command Center Manager in conducting orientations, on-the-job trainings, and evaluations for Travel Analysts to ensure all direct reports are trained and onboarded according to company requirements.

  • Based on operational needs, will work in the capacity of Travel Analyst.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What you will need to have: 

  • Possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (an associate degree with two or more years of extra relevant experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree, or more than four years of related experience may be substituted for a degree)

  • Have at least two years or more of documented experience in a field related to law, social work, detention, corrections, or similar occupational area; and (a minimum of four years of experience is required when an associate’s degree with two or more years of relevant experience is substituted for a bachelor’s degree or 6 years of experience in a related field when four years of experience is substituted for a degree)Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

  • Must possess strong computer skills in MS Office, including Microsoft Word and Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Requires effective communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with different departments within the company, employees and with clients.

  • Ability to take technical direction and feedback from various sources.

  • Committed to providing outstanding customer service and representation of MVM in a professional manner.

  • Requires the ability to prioritize work, meet stringent deadlines, balance multiple tasks and work in a team environment. 

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to deliver the highest quality of work under extreme pressure.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Clearance: 

  • Applicants selected will be subject to a government background investigation and may be required to meet the following conditions of employment.

Security Requirements: 

  • Ability to obtain/maintain a Security Clearance. 

  • Favorable credit check for all cleared positions.

  • Successfully pass a background investigation, drug screen.

  • US Citizenship, Permanent Residency depending on the program.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

Standing/Walking/Mobility: Must have mobility to attend meetings with other managers and employees.

Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling: 0% - 10% of the time.

Lifting/Pulling/Pushing: 0% - 10% of the time.

Fine Motor Skills/Dexterity: Must be able to write, type and use a telephone system 100% of the time.

Sitting: Sitting for prolonged and extended periods of time.
