- Providing professional design services for transportation improvement projects for the PDOT and local County/City agencies
- Developing design plans including horizontal and vertical alignments, cross sections, typical sections, superelevation data and miscellaneous roadway detail sheets
- Designing to adhere to ADA Standards
- Coordinating design development and providing technical direction and mentorship to the design team
- Coordinating with the design team to achieve quality deliverables within the established schedule and budget, and the development of specifications, cost estimates, reports and preparing final bid packages
- Assisting with the preparation of technical and cost proposals.
- Maintaining relationships with client technical staff and project managers
- Attending project meetings with clients, sub-consultants, and the project team
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Successful completion of the FE exam to earn your EIT.
- 0+ years of experience.
- PDOT and municipal client experience is a plus
- Proficient with MicroStation and Inroads/OpenRoads modeling design software
- OpenRoads Designer experience is a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with AASHTO and local agency design standards is required.
- Strong oral and written communication skills

Compensation Range:
