Transport Controller

Salary: £37,650 per annum plus bonus, company car or car allowance and Veolia benefits

Hours: 42.5 hours per week

Location: Grangemouth, FK3 9XB

What you'll be doing;

• Maintaining a safe and compliant fleet of 17 HGV vehicles.

• Ensuring all related legislation is complied with, including servicing frequencies, driver hours, ADR etc. As well as overall responsibility for internal and external fleet audits.

• HR Management of 15 HGV Drivers.

• Nominated on the Scottish Traffic Area Operator’s licence.

• Provide support to the Business Management team with special projects (continuous improvements, optimization, efficiencies etc.).

• You will have overall responsibility for the maintenance budget.

• Ideally you will be able to cover HGV driving duties if required.

What we're looking for;

• Previous experience in a similar role is essential

• Transport Manager CPC is essential

• Knowledge of all aspects of fleet management

• Knowledge of ADR strongly desirable

• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance planning / workshop management desirable

• Planning and organisational skills

• Personnel Management

• Ideally a qualified HGV Driver (Class I or Class II, LGV C+E or LGV C)
