Institutional Banking and Markets (IB&M) is responsible for leading the Group’s relationships with major corporate and government clients and institutional investors, and provides a full range of transactional banking, capital raising and risk management products and services.
Corporate and Institutional Transaction Banking (CITB) represents one of our biggest growth opportunities - and we're on an ambitious mission to become Australia's #1 CITB provider. You'll join the newly formed CITB Transformation team - consisting of high performers working directly in the business and with senior leadership to achieve this ambition.

As a Transformation Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of strategic change, partnering with senior leaders to deliver high-impact outcomes that position CBA as the leading Corporate and Institutional Transaction Bank in Australia and New Zealand.
You will:
- Lead strategic growth: Drive the execution of our forward-looking growth agenda, helping shape the roadmap that will elevate our market position and client experience.
- Solve what matters: Apply structured problem-solving to tackle CITB’s most complex challenges.
- Influence at the top: Communicate with clarity and confidence at the executive level, influencing decisions that shape the future of our business.
- Work autonomously, deliver collectively: Operate with independence while working in cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes under tight timelines.
- Leverage the best tools: Utilise a suite of AI-powered tools to accelerate analysis, decision-making, and execution.
Who we're interested in hearing from:
You're likely a strategic thinker with the toolkit to tackle ambiguous challenges, and desire to deliver strategy to execution. We are looking for people who have:
- Demonstrated strategic problem solving expertise from management consulting or in-house strategy roles
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including relationship-building, negotiating and influencing
- Curiosity to learn and a passion for making an impact in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated experience in managing critical project milestones and ensuring timely delivery
- Have tertiary qualifications in business or another field
