As a Transactions Supervisor within JPMorganChase, you will supervise a team responsible for daily processing of document transactions and extraction of checks and remittances. Our operation enables customers to accept traditional paper-based payments from clients by capturing information with technology services and transferring it to an output file for accounts receivable updating.  The main objective is to expedite collections of payments due by getting the check that's "in the mail" deposited into the biller's account as quickly and accurately as possible.  A second objective is to expedite the posting of payment information allowing the customer to update their account records.
You will supervise a team of entry level and front-line employees and leverage your leadership and coaching capabilities to build high-performing, collaborative, and engaged teams. You'll use your basic understanding of innovation, market products, and artificial intelligence to find ways to make transaction processes better and enhance the customer experience.
 Job Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coach a team of transaction specialists, ensuring efficient processing of transactions.
  • Oversee title processing operations, setting daily production goals, delegating work, and evaluating performance to maximize productivity and quality.
  • Manage a team of 16+ employees, leading by example and effectively coaching employees to improve quality and performance.
  • Resolve complex issues by working directly with customers, dealers, vendors, municipalities, and other internal teams.
  • Monitor work assigned to ensure processing within service level while meeting legal, compliance, and risk requirements.
  • Collaborate with others to identify and implement procedural changes, utilizing knowledge in artificial intelligence and automation.
  • Follow the Lean Management & Operational System by practicing the recommended daily routine for team huddles, huddle boards, and focus on employee support.
  • Deliver development plans and annual reviews for the team, fostering a collaborative and engaged team environment.
  • Manage or participate in projects aimed at enhancing operations and customer experience.
  • Review data to identify and resolve procedural issues, ensuring compliance with guidelines and assisting junior team members.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:

  • Strong Knowledge of banking industry business structure, previous experience in auto operations.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to build, manage, and motivate empowered teams to deliver operational objectives and goals.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent relationship management skills.
  • Highly skilled at process development and documentation, with strong analytical skills.
  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Must be willing to work in shifting schedules.

 

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Working knowledge of Chase Auto business and systems.
  • BA or BS degree 


Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, hours to be determined between 8:00am – 5:00pm CST.
