Job Description:
This job is responsible for moderately complex transaction and fulfillment processing, including the movement of assets into and out of accounts. Key responsibilities include reconciliation, settlement, and trade and transfer support, and providing quality service and operations support for internal business partners and external clients, in accordance with established guidelines and procedures. Job expectations include handling in operational processes which may carry medium to high levels of monetary risk and assisting in training less experienced team members.

Line of Business Description:

Upon the receipt of a trade correction order request from internal partners, the Error Control team ensure the instructions are complete and correct, then follows procedures to correct the client account. Additionally, the team manages the transaction to settle the activity and distribute the associated profit and loss.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs an assessment of trade correction requests, then sends communications to complete the correction per established guidelines and procedures

  • Research and resolves trade errors, allocations and discrepancies found in routine reports

  • Responds to internal and external partner inquiries related to trade corrections and error resolution via email, phone, or workflow systems, escalating more challenging issues to leadership ensuring operational efficiency and quality client service

  • Understand the process flow from end to end including the reasons for each step, the process controls, the risks within the process and the upstream/downstream impacts of their work based on an understanding the work affects other operational units

Job Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year experience with financial industry product support

  • Demonstrated ability to manage a personal caseload and organize work to meet daily/weekly SLAs

  • Ability to use Microsoft Excel to run macros, apply filters and understand PivotTables

  • Experience using Microsoft Outlook to manage and organize daily email communications
