About the Role
We’re looking for a Transaction Analyst / Transaction Administrator to join our growing Global Capital Markets team in Jersey. This is a great opportunity for someone to gain valuable experience across a range of capital markets structures. You’ll be supported by experienced colleagues, work on real client matters, and have the chance to develop both your technical and professional skills. Ideally, you will have 1 to 2 years of experience in the financial services industry or related field.

Key Responsibilities:
- Client Administration: Collaborate with your team to assist and manage a portfolio of Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs)
- Client Relationship & Portfolio Management: Successfully manage a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering a high standard of service with accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism
- General Support: Take on a variety of administration tasks and provide support to the wider team as required
- Technical Knowledge: Develop an understanding of technical matters relating to trusts and companies
- Board Support: Assist with preparing board packs, minutes, resolutions, and processing payments
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
- Client Communication: Communicate professionally with clients under the guidance of senior team members
- Document Handling: Handle confidential client documents with integrity
- Task Management: Take ownership of assigned tasks and approach work in a reliable and positive manner
- Process Improvement: Contribute ideas to improve efficiency and working practices
- Relationship Building: Build strong working relationships with colleagues, clients, and suppliers
- Professional Development: Take responsibility for your own development and make use of internal training and resources
- Time Recording: Record time accurately to ensure correct client billing
- Regulatory Compliance: Support the production and submission of statutory returns
Your profile:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience in the financial services industry or related field
- Legal right to work: You hold the legal right to work in Jersey without the need for sponsorship
- Communication Skills: Confident written and verbal communication skills
- Initiative: Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Commitment: Driven to achieve high standards for yourself and your clients
- Academic Background: Strong educational track record
- Proactivity: Forward-thinking with a willingness to take on responsibility
- Technical Skills: Familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook; experience with Navision and SAP is an advantage
- Professional Development: Willingness to study towards or already studying towards a professional qualification such as ICSA/CGI
- Manage a portfolio of Jersey-based capital markets clients and structures, ensuring a high standard of client service.
- Oversee the formation and implementation of special purpose vehicles (SPVs), including entity formation and transaction execution.
- Ensure adherence to continuing obligations, governance, and day-to-day correspondence for client entities.
- Collaborate with colleagues across administration, accounting, compliance, legal, and company secretarial functions to deliver complex transactions.
- Assist with the development and review of more junior team members, providing guidance and support.
- Act with integrity and exercise sound judgment in all aspects of the role, maintaining a strong ethical framework.
- Comply with CSC policies and applicable legal, regulatory, anti-money laundering, counter-terrorist financing, and counter-proliferation financing requirements.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of Jersey's regulated financial services environment and its implications for client transactions.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
- A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar transaction analyst or financial services role, with a focus on capital markets.
- Strong knowledge of Jersey's regulated financial services environment and its legal and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent understanding of special purpose vehicles (SPVs) and their formation and implementation processes.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, transaction management, and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in transaction administration.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for financial analysis and transaction management.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to stay updated with industry trends.
