Training & Workforce Planning Specialist

AERONES is seeking an organised, detail-driven Training & Workforce Planning Specialist to make sure we have qualified field technicians ready when and where our projects need them. In this role, you will plan training capacity at the Aerones Academy against the workforce forecast, schedule certification renewals and recurrent training around field deployments, keep roster and workforce data accurate, and own the department’s library of standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Our technicians maintain wind turbines around the world, and field plans can shift at short notice. You will balance training needs against live deployment commitments, and you will spot conflicts before they reach the field.

What You’ll Do
  • Plan Academy capacity, including instructors, cohort slots and throughput, against the workforce forecast so trained technicians are ready for upcoming field work.
  • Plan and coordinate certification renewals, recertification and recurrent training, and schedule them around field deployment commitments so they don’t clash with assignments.
  • Track training throughput and time-to-qualified, and escalate capacity constraints early, with options, before they affect field deployment.
  • Coordinate training activities with the Academy, instructors and HR so people and resources are allocated where they are needed most.
  • Maintain technician availability, rotation and leave data, and prepare inputs for the roster.
  • Keep roster, workforce and training data accurate and up to date in our planning systems.
  • Prepare workforce and training-capacity reporting for the weekly capacity review and the sales and operations planning (S&OP) cycle.
  • Produce and maintain the department’s SOP library. Review each procedure at least once a year and after any significant process, system or organisational change.
  • Spot opportunities to improve procedures, and recommend updates that keep them accurate and aligned with how operations really work.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
  • Experience in planning, scheduling, coordination or training administration, ideally for at least a year.
  • Confident spreadsheet skills and experience with planning tools, with the ability to build and maintain schedules, trackers and plans.
  • Practical experience using AI tools to speed up everyday planning, reporting or documentation work.
  • A clear written style and the ability to document processes so others can follow them.
  • Strong organisation, accuracy and attention to detail, especially when you keep data and schedules current.
  • Fluent English and Latvian language
  • Strong communication skills and an ownership mindset, with the confidence to follow up with the Academy, HR and operations teams until plans are agreed.
  • Flexibility and a calm, efficient approach when priorities change quickly and the pressure is on.
What We Offer
  • Competitive pay with a salary of €1,800 – €2,300 gross/month.
  • Global impact through robotics shaping the future of renewable energy.
  • Career growth with real opportunities to learn, develop, and advance.
  • Cutting-edge technology with hands-on experience in innovative robotics.
  • Enjoy the journey with team events, celebrations, and a vibrant company culture.
  • Health insurance after your probation period.
  • Extra time to recharge with additional Health Recovery Days.
  • Learning support with paid study leave.
  • Life-event benefits to support you when it matters most.

Ready to make an impact? If you’re excited about solving real challenges, working with great people, and contributing to technology shaping the future of renewable energy, we’d love to hear from you. Apply and let’s build what’s next together.
